Massimiliano Ebner received his law degree from Tor Vergata Roma 2 University in Rome in 1999. He completed his two years of legal apprenticeship ("pratica" required by the Italian Bar Association and from the Italian Notaries association) from 1999-2001 . In 2003 he passed the Italian Bar Exam on the first attempt, at a time when approximately 80% of candidates in Rome were rejected at each exam (held annually in two parts, written and oral). In 2006 he passed the Italian notary exam (the toughest public exam held in Italy!) at the first attempt when approximately 93% of candidates were rejected! In 2008 he obtained a Ph.d in Civil LAw at University of Rome Tor Vergata
