Basilio Perugini Jr., (firm manager), received his law
degree from
La Sapienza University of Rome on July 29,
1969. He was admitted to the Rome Bar Association on
October 5, 1972, and since February 27, 1987, he has
been a member of the Italian Supreme Court Bar
Association (
Patrocinante in Cassazione), which is
necessary to try cases in the Italian Supreme Court. He
has also been a member of the Auditor Association
(
Registro dei revisori contabili) since it was first
established on April 12, 1995.
He has been an active attorney in his Rome based law
firm for the last forty years, developing professional
expertise in civil, criminal and administrative law.

He has been legal consultant to many prominent
companies and institutions such as the Regional
Government of Calabria, several banks and navigation
and chemical companies.
Between 1972 and 1974 he was legal advisor for the Minister of Southern
Italy. He was also member of the Board of Directors of ITAL.F.IM.AS spa.

He has been a member of the Lions Club Roma Capitolium and Lions Clubs
International since June 12, 1984. Among the charity activities performed by
Lions Club Roma Capitolium, he has sponsored several initiatives such as a
fundraiser which raised enough to donate four high-tech surgical devices for
heart surgeries to the pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù in Rome.

He was District President in charge of relations with the City of Rome in
2002/03, and he negotiated the agreement between the Lions Clubs of Roma
and the City of Rome signed on February 2003. He is the founder and
president of the non-profit “
Impegno Civico,” active in Italian political, cultural
and social life, whose honorary president is the current Italian Minister of
Foreign Affairs, the Honorable Franco Frattini.
